Trident Consulting is seeking a " Warehouse Operator” for one of our clients. A global leader in business and technology services.

Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Location: Lenexa, KS (Onsite)

Shift: 2nd Shift / Night Shift

Timing :6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Rotating schedule : 3 nights one week / 4 nights the next

Timing: 12-hour shifts

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr - $20/hr on W2

Night Shift Differential: +10%

Employment Type: Contract (W2)

Position Summary

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through the receipt, storage, retrieval, shipping, and cycle counting of raw and finished materials. This role supports both internal and external customers while maintaining safety, quality, and operational standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working overnight, rotating 12-hour shifts.

Core Responsibilities

  • Receive, put away, retrieve, ship, and cycle count raw and finished materials
  • Accurately process materials to support internal and external customer needs
  • Perform daily housekeeping and general warehouse maintenance
  • Follow all warehouse safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the Lead or Logistics Manager
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check (required for offer)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and 50 lbs up to 60 times during a 12-hour shift
  • Ability to understand and speak English
  • Basic math and computer (PC) skills
  • Willingness and ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to work rotating night shift / 2nd shift schedule

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of warehouse or material handling experience
  • Prior experience working 2nd shift or night shift
  • Familiarity with ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT, or IATA regulations

Physical & Safety Requirements

  • Forklift operation required
  • Heavy lifting (>20 lbs) required
  • PPE provided: steel-toe boots and safety glasses
  • No exposure to blood, biological agents, animals, chemicals, or respirators
  • No physical exam, hearing test, or visual acuity exam required
