Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of trainers, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure trainers meet performance and delivery standards.
  • Design and refine training programs, materials, and methodologies to meet organizational and employee needs.
  • Develop and approve SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) Documentation and additional training or process documentation.
  • Ensure training content aligns with company goals, values, and industry standards.
  • Introduce innovative training techniques, including digital tools and e-learning platforms, to enhance engagement.
  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs.
  • Conduct training sessions when necessary, focusing on leadership development, technical skills, and company-specific processes.
  • Track and analyze training outcomes, employee feedback, and team performance metrics.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on evaluations and organizational needs.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify skill gaps and training needs.
  • Ensure training initiatives align with compliance standards, organizational policies, and requirements.
  • Manage training budgets, tools, and materials to optimize resource utilization.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of training schedules, certifications, and outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance the training experience.
  • Foster a culture of learning and professional growth across the organization
  • Prepare, process, and move merchandise productively, safely, accurately, and per established production rates, as well as established standards and guidelines
  • Train and manage training classes for powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or order picker and equipment at heights up to 40 feet according to OSHA regulations and requirements.
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
  • Work overtime as deemed necessary by management.
  • Assist in the daily sanitation of assigned area to insure an efficient, safe, hazard free production environment.
  • Meet or exceed company standards on attendance, punctuality, conduct, safety and security.
  • Flexibly adapt to changes in process and procedures.
  • Good oral and written communication, interpersonal interaction and social skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, multi-functional and multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet departmental objectives.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • One to two years related experience and/or leading training in warehousing or distribution operations preferred
  • One to two years experience with managing and/or leading training with OSHA PIT Regulations

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds to aid operations
