About the Role
We're seeking a full-time Program Manager to join our NYC team and help lead our growing network of in-person and online coding programs. This is an in-person role that includes regular travel to our locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn and on occasion the Bronx, Scarsdale, and Port Washington (all train accessible).
As Program Manager, you'll own key aspects of teacher management, program quality, and class operations. You'll be instrumental in maintaining our high standards while continuously improving our programs.
Teacher Management
- Interview and onboard new teachers
- Develop and lead engaging, research-based teacher training
- Provide feedback, mentorship, and end-of-year reviews
- Ensure classes are fully staffed and run smoothly
- Visit classes regularly, including periodic Saturday check-ins
Program Quality & Class Operations
- Observe multiple classes each week to maintain quality standards
- Troubleshoot class issues and assist when coverage is needed
- Approve class summaries and ensure progress notes are complete
- Manage sub coverage, attendance sheets, and teacher comms
- Support the Client Services team in addressing family concerns
- Oversee seasonal camps and school-break programs (9am-3pm)
Site & Supply Management
- Maintain class spaces and inventory at our Park Slope and UES locations
- Ensure all classrooms are safe, stocked, and functional
Curriculum & Innovation
- Collaborate on curriculum development, especially new AI and data science modules as well as STEM curriculum for camp
- Support enrichment events and special learning experiences
Team & Culture
- Attend weekly team meetings and strategy sessions
- Support organizational growth by identifying staffing needs and solutions
Compensation & Benefits
- $67,000 annual salary
