Job Title: Sales Assistant
Location: Fully Onsite –Petersburg, VA 23805
Schedule: Monday–Friday (9 AM–5 PM + 2 Saturdays/month (alternating with Sales Manager)
About the Role:
This team is seeking a bubbly, driven, and organized Sales Assistant to join our growing team. This role is fully onsite at our Petersburg design center and will play a key part in helping homebuyers through the early stages of their home remodeling and building journey. You'll support the Sales Manager with customer inquiries, product selections, and process coordination—ensuring a smooth and high-touch client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and walk-ins at the design center, offering a warm and engaging first impression.
- Respond to all incoming inquiries through Oracle; collect client details and assess their needs.
- Pass qualified leads to the Sales Manager, and support them post-meeting with selections like paint, countertops, flooring, shingles, closets, and more.
- Assist with home walkthroughs and client design decisions.
- Coordinate the submission of projects to the county for blueprint approval.
- Help ensure a smooth handoff from the sales team to the Project Management team once approvals are secured.
- Maintain the design center with updated product and color selections.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager on marketing materials and local advertising/mail-outs.
- Support planning of sales events alongside the GM and sales team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Outgoing, BUBBLY personality – people skills are a must!
- Interest in sales, design, or marketing (no degree required)
- 6 months–1 year of experience in a sales, marketing, or client-facing internship/role
- Highly organized, professional, and ready to grow with a fast-paced team
- Please note: This is not a fast-food level customer service role – we are seeking top-tier personality and energy!
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: $18–$22/hour based on experience
- Bonus: $100 per home closed
