We are located right at Parkside Commons, making this an easy commute whether you are coming from Gananda, East Rochester, or Fairport. We are looking for a Shift Manager to join our leadership team in the Rochester market. Training starts here in Penfield, with real opportunities to support other locations across the area once you are certified. We need a leader who manages from the floor, not the office. You’ll be jumping on the grill, helping customers, and coaching your team through the rush.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the Floor: Support the GM/AGM by running efficient shifts and ensuring the team is hitting their targets.
• Hands-On Operation: You are a working manager. You will handle every station including cashier, prep, grill, and fries.
• Quality Control: Ensure every burger and fry meets the Five Guys standard—perfectly cooked and served hot.
• Team Development: Train new hires and motivate the crew to hit "Secret Shopper" bonuses.
• Operations: Handle opening/closing duties, manage cash, and maintain strict food safety standards.

What we need from you:

• Experience: 1+ year of management experience in a fast-casual restaurant.
• Certification: Must hold a valid ServSafe Certificate (Required to present at interview).
• Availability: Flexible schedule (mornings, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift 50+ lbs for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
• Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
