Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a an RF Engineer for one of our telecommunications clients to support their small cell/ODAS projects in the NY Metro area. We are seeking a skilled RF Engineer to support RFDS (Radio Frequency Data Sheets) and CQ (Coverage Quality) data updates. This role requires a deep understanding of RF engineering principles and expertise in maintaining, updating, and optimizing radio frequency data systems to ensure accurate coverage and performance. The RF Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze network performance, troubleshoot RF issues, and implement enhancements that optimize coverage and quality. This is a hybrid postion - 2 days onsite a week in West Nyack, NY and 3 days remote. (Onsite days are Tuesdays and Thursdays).

• Manage and update RFDS to ensure accurate radio frequency configurations and network parameters.
• Analyze CQ data and make recommendations to improve network coverage and performance.
• Collaborate with network planning and optimization teams to refine frequency planning and spectrum usage.
• Utilize propagation tools and drive test data to validate coverage predictions and optimize network settings.
• Conduct RF analysis to troubleshoot signal issues and mitigate interference.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Provide technical support for RF-related queries and contribute to system upgrades.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for RF data updates and engineering processes

Must:

Atoll expeirence

3-5 years industry experience

RF Design

Small Cell and/or ODAS experience
