Optomi, in partnership with an established entertainment provider, is seeking a Product Designer who’s energized by the chance to shape the next generation of studio and post-production workflows—where AI, automation, and human creativity intersect. This isn’t just another enterprise design role. Human–AI interaction is undergoing a massive shift, and this team is redefining how creative operations collaborate with intelligent systems across the entire video and localization lifecycle.

What you'll be doing:

  • Spend time with current specialists to uncover behaviors, gaps, and requirements.
  • Map end-to-end workflows and identify opportunities for automation or reimagined human touchpoints.
  • Create intuitive UI/UX for complex, video-centered workflows and post-production tools.
  • Prototype new interaction patterns for agentic/AI-supported systems.
  • Contribute to design systems and ensure documentation is clear and actionable for engineering.
  • Deliver high-fidelity specs with meticulous detail and pixel-level precision.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and studio operations stakeholders.
  • Present design rationale, walk teams through user journeys, and drive alignment around solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years designing for web-based tools, operations platforms, or complex workflows.
  • Experience with enterprise interfaces, workflow engines, dashboards, or human/machine collaboration.
  • Strong ability to simplify complexity and design for processes involving large scale media or operations.
  • Experience in studio operations, video workflows, localization, or digital content supply chain.
