Job Description
Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our manufacturing client in searching for a Materials Expeditor in East Longmeadow MA. This is a contract role expected to last between 4 to 6 months, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in material expediting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Salary: $30-$35 per hour
Schedule: Onsite, Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm
Responsibilities
- Track and monitor material shipments and deliveries
- Assist with planning and scheduling of materials
- Support purchasing activities, including export and import functions
- Work closely with the Purchasing Manager and team to ensure timely material flowC
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment handling material expediting or a related function.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with purchasing, export, and import processes is a plus.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data collection and analysis effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
