Develop comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications
Preparing bids, works within the company guidelines concerning labor and material cost to maximize profit on projects
Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and related documents
Utilize estimating software and industry knowledge to ensure precision in calculations
Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless transition from estimation to project execution
Develop lasting relationships with general contractors and responsible exporting requests for bids and quotes

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
3+ years of construction estimating experience
Experience with estimating tools like PlanSwift, AutoCAD, or Bluebeam preferred.
Experience with On-Screen Takeoff (OST), and Microsoft Excel required
Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
