Job Description
Full time position, 35 – 40 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Prepares and analyzes metals samples using standard laboratory techniques
- Adheres to SOPs, maintains data integrity in LIMS, and reports unusual test occurrences
- Conducts routine maintenance, verifies equipment functionality, and ensures instruments are operational
- Performs QA/QC checks on laboratory equipment while complying with EPA waste disposal requirements
- Skilled in FLAA, ICP, mercury analyzers, and specialized laboratory data systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biology, or at least 12 credits in chemistry or a related scientific field
- At-least 2 years of laboratory experience
- Experience with AIHA Metals or Industrial Hygiene is preferred
