Job Description:

Lead the development and implementation of EHS policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
Act as the primary EHS advisor to senior leadership, influencing a culture of safety, responsibility, and zero incidents.
Champion behavior-based safety, employee engagement, and risk mitigation strategies.
Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to manage chemical compliance, SDS processes, and regulatory documentation.
Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies and third-party consultants.
Maintain and optimize EHS information systems (such as Enablon) to support reporting, compliance tracking, and audit readiness.
Lead EHS efforts tied to real estate transactions, M&A activity, and facility expansion or restructuring.
Represent the organization in cross-regional forums for best practice sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
(Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum 10 years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and environmental regulations
Strong experience in incident management, risk assessment, and compliance strategy
Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence at all levels
Proficiency in EHS platforms and reporting systems (e.g., Enablon)
