As Director, Practice Community at Client, you will lead the strategic growth and operational scaling of industry practices and functional capabilities across our Independent Consultants community. Positioned at the intersection of community building, strategic execution of the practice community roadmap, and stakeholder enablement, this role is critical in aligning our Independent Consultant communities with evolving client demand.

You will oversee a dynamic portfolio of practices composed of thousands of former executives, former consultants, and thought leaders—driving expert engagement, reusable offering development, and cross-practice collaboration. We are seeking a bold innovator who will reimagine how consulting practices are built and scaled, leveraging AI and digital tools to pioneer new community and delivery models.

This role requires a strategic operator with a strong blend of vision-setting and hands-on execution, capable of building scalable structures and transforming expert engagement into a sustainable competitive advantage for the Client. A strong emphasis will also be placed on thought leadership development—partnering with Marketing and Independent Consultants from the community to consistently elevate our brand and perspectives in the market.

Location: This role is a hybrid position based in our Boston office.

  • Cultivate deep relationships with community members, acting as a trusted liaison and advocate for their capabilities and contributions.
  • Build functional and domain expertise to guide internal teams in effectively leveraging the expert community.
  • Offerings, Tools & Services
  • Partner cross-functionally to prioritize and launch new products and services that enhance expert community value and client outcomes.
