Superintendent – Commercial Construction
Location: Houston, TX
Are you an experienced Superintendent with a passion for delivering high-quality commercial projects? Our client, a reputable General Contractor based in Houston, is looking to add a dedicated and driven Superintendent to their growing team.

This established General Contractor has built a strong reputation across the Houston market by successfully delivering a wide variety of commercial projects. Their portfolio includes Restaurants, Office spaces, Community buildings, Gas stations, and Warehouses – all completed to the highest standards.
The Role:
As Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll be the primary point of contact on-site and play a key leadership role throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily on-site operations, ensuring progress aligns with project schedules
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and vendors
- Enforce site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with OSHA standards
- Conduct site meetings and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and inspectors
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality standards and project specifications
- Maintain and track site documentation including daily reports, inspections, and punch lists
- Identify and resolve potential delays or issues before they impact the schedule
- Drive a positive, team-oriented site culture and foster strong working relationships
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Proven experience delivering projects such as restaurants, office buildings, warehouses, and/or gas stations
- Strong knowledge of the Houston construction market and local subcontractor base
- A hands-on, can-do attitude with a commitment to teamwork and accountability
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
