Job Description
A Commercial Bank based in North Carolina is looking to bring on a new Assistant BSA Officer to their team. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer this position would be tasked with leading the firms BSA/AML program.
Responsibilities
- Continue with the development and implementation of the BSA/AML program.
- Creating and updating Financial Crimes Compliance policies and procedures.
- Reviewing daily monitoring reports for the Bank BSA/AML function.
- Assisting in the development of Compliance trainings for the Bank along with filing SAR reports.
- Work alongside other members of the compliance team to handle ad-hoc Compliance projects.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience within the Banking Compliance space.
- Must have prior experience working with Actimize.
- Familiarity with financial crimes Banking Compliance rules and regulations as well as prior experience with FDIC regulated firms.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
